Project Safe Flight. World Financial Center, Manhattan

Each spring and fall hundreds of migrating birds crash into reflective glass in downtown and midtown buildings of Manhattan. Some of the deadliest buildings include Morgan Mail Facility on 9th Avenue, the World Financial Center buildings and the Met. Here, NNYN naturalist David Rosane, who volunteers with NYC Audubon's Project Safe Flight, finds and rescues a fall migrant - a young Nashville Warbler.
