Tara O’Neill of Columbia University Teachers College leads the kick-off session of a collaboration with NNF to produce a comprehensive teachers guide and lesson plans built around Go Wild in New York City. The initiative is overseen by the Urban Nature Media Workshop, and Jessica Marshall, UNMW Executive Director, joined O’Neill to launch the project with twenty teachers from around New York City who will contribute lesson plans. Among those participating in the GO WILD TEACHERS project are the New York Restoration Project, the Bronx River Alliance and the Cornell Extension, along with public school teachers city wide.
