New York Goes Wild on January 25

GO WILD IN NEW YORK CITY which is being published by the National Geographic Society and distributed by Simon & Schuster will hit the bookstores on January 25.

The unique book on New York's urban ecology which already has been receiving raves from readers will be accompanied by a web site as well as study materials for use in education. The New York book is expected to be followed by similar books on Boston and Washington D.C.

GO WILD was conceptualized by Jessica Marshall of Eye Candy Books, and Amy Zilliax in the belief that "once you know how mind-bendingly cool urban nature is you'll do everything in your power to take care of it - no matter how young you are." It is designed by Kate Thompson and Katherine Dillon and illustrated by Paul Corio. Brad Matsen is the author.

The book has been produced with the help of NNYN, National Geographic and Verizon.
